Anybody else sell RvP and Lampard before this round? shog[1].gif

Of course not. smile.gif He's making me lots of points lately. 26 this time.

I figured the London derby would be low scoring and I shouldn't keep so much of my budget chained to these players, and instead went for Aguero & co.

Just made a bunch of transfers, even if my team does amazingly I'll be taking a hard hit. No guts no glory though, and my team is struggling

Hope you all don't mind another player - Sneaky Peaky's.

A steady climb up the rankings. Hopefully I end in a CL spot...

I seem to have gone from doing appalingly badly to average this season. I'm hoping for a sudden leap soon smile.gif

Now why did I captain the wrong Van? shog[1].gif

Happens to me all the time. 32 points from the right Van was nice though.

That was before I realized you didn't start with zero points... smile.gif

Well apart from Ba that was pretty much a disaster. Can Van Persie stop being good please?

Guess who were my 3 trades out of the team for last week? Lampard, RvP, and Ba. Am I doing it right?

Hmmmm. Bad luck!!

Could easily have been a stroke of genius if Arsenal and Newcastle both had played scoreless draws..... biggrin.gif

But.... trading more than one player and taking the 4 point penalties, that's usually plain stupidity, only sometimes, very rarely, a stroke of genius.

As for myself... enjoying my laudable advancement up to 2nd place but cursing the leader.

It's going to be an interesting weekend - neither Chelsea or Arsenal have been exactly solid at the back so far, and whilst City should walk their match again I haven't a clue who Mancini is going to play...

I felt just fine after a few bottles of your local brew. My tactic to stick with Bishops Finger and not consider any fancy player trades, well, it paid off!! I'll have a few next weekend as well, maybe one or two in the midweek as extra insurance.

I recommend their 'Late Red' if you can get hold of it. The Halloween special 'Spook's Ale' wasn't bad, but better on draught than from the bottle.

a bit of a mixed weekend for me, but at least I didn't drop...
