I remember a while back Yoox listed a couple pairs of Lobbs, but no one was able to purchase them and Yoox seemed not to have the foggiest as to what the hell the 30-or-so of us that called were talking about. Probably the same deal here. Or are they actually up for sale? Quick search didn't turn anything up.

They tend to sell very quickly.

Damn. Had 15 theories running through my head from when that thread was created, right up until your post. The price tag ($95) just made it extremely hard for me to believe that they were actually up for sale.

$95? They will be on SF or eBay in a couple of weeks (an easy $500 to $1k, depending on how many they scooped, for someone who was quick enough). The Lobbs were ~$70 or something and Yes, they were Vales (my size too, IIRC). Yoox's pricing scheme makes zero sense. Some of their stuff is horribly over-priced, and then some stuff like this is super cheap.

Well, it wasnt that long ago that couple of folks bought the Scafaro Ferres to flip here.
Same size and all that Yoox was selling.

Even so, Yoox would leave a trace on their website.
So you can see the advert for the shoes but when you click on it, it would say SOLD.
But in this case, I can't even see the advert for the Kitons.

I was talking about the Lobbs, actually. And that frenzy went down last year. Here's the link to the original thread:

I thought the same thing. When you type John Lobb into the search box, nothing comes up. Via a Google search, tho':

They should be easy to spot since most Kiton shoes on sale are their loafers and mocasins which cant move.

I think Yoox's bargains are things of the past. Probably the buyer blundered and didnt know what is a John Lobb.
