I just bought a pair or these black tassel loafers from ebay. Apparently hand-made in S.Korea taking up to 15 days to complete ? The material used is Cowshide leather and the sole is also hand made. Width: Medium (D, M) the brand is Davinci Pics: Attachment 65680 What do you think? Anyone know about S.Korean manufacture? A good purchase for summer? I´m growing out of driving shoes, and wanted something more "bold" and "solid". Also, it´s not a faux pas to wear them casually is it ? i.e. with chinos or plain slim jeans? btw, my Father accused me of being a French Conservative! History has it that ze French Conservatives would wear tassel loafers and enter all the swanky Parisian clubs as a result they have been associated with them ever since. oh-la-la !

I really like the styling on those quite a bit. If you can pull them off, definitely a nice purchase. How much were they, if you don't mind me asking?

Yes I´m sure I will pull them off, less is more with these shoes I think. Would you believe me if I were to say they were US$87.99/£53.65 excluding p&p ? I just stumbled upon them and bagged them instantly !

I would wear those for the right price. I too, like the styling. I looked up the brand but didn't find much on eBay. Care to point in the right direction?

s korea has a shoe making industry but it is not geared towards quality, but rather cheap, disposable fashion. as this model exemplifies

Cheap, disposable fashion . . . Noooo! Oh well, one summer´s worth of wear would be enough for the price i´m paying I guess.

UK: 9 / US: 9.5

I can´t comment on the size nor the quality as it has not yet arrived.

My pleasure, but I hope you don´t buy that hideous tan colour !!!

Well I am a 43 which I thought was a US9.5/10 although the ebayer says it's a 9.
Look forward to hearing the result and no I am not buying that tan.
