Who does high quality classic plain straight, pin and club collared shirts without any plackets, buttons or bar holes in simple white, sky, pale yellow, etc. colors in slimmer fit and minimalist/modernist ~ '58 - '64 style? I need to pick up a couple of simple, classic cotton men's shirts and want a few that I can wear with a collar pin, preferably in a slimmer fit. No check patterns or pinstripes or see through fabrics or logo brandings. No deep overly saturated colors. Looking for the highest quality med. collar tailored fitting cotton shirts to be worn with tie pins, with the emphasis on minimalism. It's surprisingly hard to find simplicity with style in men's shirts.

BB? I doubt it. I just checked. If you can wade through all their "no-iron" crap,
and button down collars with no collar roll, you can find some of their luxury line
which kind of meets your description, but is not slim fit. In fact the true "trad"
shirt you describe is rarely slim fit, and has to be tapered. I would try the
Andover Shop and O'connells before settleing for the middling to poor quality of Brooks.

Also look at Mercer's.

Fairly sure that Gant pretty much invented the trad shirt along side Brooks Brothers/Ralph Lauren.

True, but they are on their nth incarnation now. They are kind of a hipster oriented neo-trad brand now and being designed by Michael Bastian.

O'Connell's has some nice looking shirts, but how's the fit on them?

I haven't found what I'm looking for anywhere else yet... I like vintage BBs but they are usually balloons. I'm not sure how crazy I am about what I see on their site.
