Do you tinker with the recipe when changing between the three?
I don't want to answer authoritatively for Huntsman, but I'd imagine that he would adjust the level of vermouth to to correspond to the natural sweetness (or lack thereof) of the different liquors.
Nope and nope. There is a limit to my fussiness. I am (or ought to be) experimenting with the wonderfulness of Carpano Antica in place of my dear Vya, however.
I figure Don is drinking CC as he seems to have a penchant for it. I grew up, understandably, with Canadian whisky as the whisky of choice in my manhattan, and I've drank mucho manhattans with Wiser's Deluxe, for about the last 20 years.
Hadn't noticed the penchant; I've only watched scattered episodes, but it would stand to reason.
Glycerol in Vodka Results Your thoughts please.
Darcy needs a GCMS, and frankly, so do I. Actually was probably in the cards prior to the meltdown. Oh well. Otherwise I really don't care because I don't like Goose. In terms of adulterants, I'm waaaaay more interested in other trace compounds you cannot titrate for. I say again, GCMS. ~ H
