I received my SD. Exactly thirty-one days from order. I love them! The only problem is that I can't wear them. Big toe on left foot rubs on the steel toe. I don't know if, as they continue to break in, things will change. I know the steel won't stretch. Maybe I should take them back and have the steel replaced with double celastic?

So I ended up having to send my LTT farmer ranchers back to white's for a rebuild. the 10b on the left boot was just not long enough. I had a lot of misgivings about ordering a 10b for the left foot, but decided to trust White's on it. Big mistake

so today, about a month later, I got the boot back...with the wrong sole. I had sent in just the left boot to save me some money on shipping, which I thought would be fine, but I guess was a big mistake. Perhaps they didn't consult the notes or whatever before putting the sole back on, I don't know. All I do know is the left boot has a vibram 100 and the right boot has a vibram 430 mini lug.

suffice to say I'm pretty upset with White's right now. I was really excited to get the boots back on my feet and this happens.

here they are in all their glory. at least those who are curious can see what brown smooth looks like new and after obenauf's - even a month later.

Sorry to hear that.
If White's has a failing, it's in the communications department.
I currently have an order that is slogging it's way via snail mail to them, I'll want to make doubly (and more) sure that they make my order to my specifications.
Hope they quickly rectify your order.

Can't wait to see em, bro! Think you sized correct fwiw. I sized out on mine, but have since added a flat insole as have found them to be too roomy.

Seems like that isn't exactly uncommon lately, as evidenced by posts on here and Iron Heart forums. At least they're paying for return shipping, though this shouldn't have happened. I'd say their quality control is also an issue, though.

It's kind of odd that they only took one boot back. Won't it be awkward walking in them once the left is fixed, since one is broken in while the other isn't?

I hadn't thought about that. It was my idea to send one boot back. just trying to save a buck. the right boot isn't much more broken in, but I do think it might be a little strange for a while. Even if I did send the right boot back with the left, I don't think they would have rebuilt both since the right was fine.

Thanks so much! I am excited. Don't hold it against me that I went down 1/4 on the heel... ;)
