I would like to see Nymeria pull Lady Catelyn's body from the river (it gets tossed in early in the episode and maybe even Robb's body with Grey Wind's head and crown) through Arya's first wolf dream. It would be her falling asleep after a long day's trek with Sandor. Then, after Nymeria pulls it out, the Brotherhood arrive. Beric and Thoros discuss it and how sad that little girl was, how Beric cannot bear to have her an orphan. Beric then breathes fire into her lungs, falls over dead, and you see Cat's eyes open back up as the final image on the screen. It would be dramatic as hell for Cat's eyes reopening - perhaps with fire reflecting in her eyes as the final image.

That would be cool. I was thinking they would reveal Cat they way they did in the book, with Freys being hanged and then Lady Stoneheart emerging from the darkness with her throat cut (or something like that. I hadn't read it in a good while.

Funny how the whole "kill a dozen innocent people = just tv; kill a dog = OMG YOU MONSTERS!" thing still works on me. My daughter, jaded child of the internet age that she is, sat through the pregnant belly stabbing without a wince, but when the wolf was about to die she had to leave the room

the problem is that because it's tv without flashback scenes, it requires the story to be told in linear fashion. LS rebirth must be before her reveal with someone explaining how she was reborn. I think that's why Beric was explaining that with each death he loses a bit of himself and was trying so hard to connect with Arya. It gives him motivation and explains why LS isn't Cat - because she wasn't immediately revived.

There's the equally horrible treatment of Cat's body. Stripping her naked and throwing her in the river in a mockery of the Tully funeral ritual which we saw with her father's funeral is terrible.

But, if that picture is to be believed, it's pretty silly. How would a horse accept a corpse and wolf corpse body upon its back? Any horse would shy and rear from such.
