This is unbelievable. Mostly sold out now. Did people really get RLBL, Cuccinelli, Belvest, Black Fleece, and Zegna blazers/suits for $88? Ralph Lauren wingtips for $44? A $2,500 Cuccinelli blanket for $188? http://www.gilt.com/sale/men/scary-deals-for/ss Bad karma from the Gilt haters and forum sponsor droppage? This is more epic than Daffy's Mabitex flood. I can't even imagine what B&S would look like right now if a member had gotten advance notice.

People complain why Gilt is still in existence?

Because of buyer of you. Holding out some hope to pick up some super once in a lifetime deal.

You should also play the lottery.

You should have stuck with the "all your base are belong to us"-ese, like so:

Wait... how the hell do they even make money on these? I know markups are huge but this is ridiculous.

Could the reason for the leftover high end Italian stuff be that a lot of American shoppers on Gilt don't recognize brands like Barbera, Belvest etc.?

Then again, I'm sure that they recognize Ralph Lauren. I don't know how those RLBLs survived.

Saw the overcoat I bought for $650 a year ago on there for $188.

Wish I knew that was happening!

How can you be sure they were there to start with? I bet it was just a marketing thing. They probably started out as already SOLD OUT, cause who's gonna know? And then people like us are getting our panties in a bunch and are going to check GILT fanatically every morning for a month.

Good point. It's a conspiracy!
