What are some good brands for slimmer/contemporary fitting dress pants? Some people have mentioned hugo boss red label, but those seem pretty hard to find.

I ordered some pants from BB but they were so fat I had to return them...do they have a slimmer line?

Also...for pairing with a light blue dress shirt, is black or charcoal better?

i bought 2 pairs of theory "cody" pants (1 charcoal 1 navy). very nice. no pleats, good quality. $200/pair http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/ca...827cat21150733 slim fitting but not overly slim (not NYC hipster style), i have soccer player style legs (pretty muscular), if you have thin legs then maybe its not a good choice.

>Yes, If you are buying from BB, buy the Milano fit. Surprisingly slim, flat front, low rise.

>Pair it with charcoal. I hate wearing black anything except for shoes on occasion.

Incotex are the slimmest trousers I've tried. They're so trim, I won't buy them anymore (they also retail for upwards of $200 a pair, but I won't buy them at a discount either).

Most trousers be made as slim as you want with the help of a tailor.

Costs me $15 to alter a pair.

I have Mabitex and Banana Republic Monogram.
At first they felt weird, but they are not nut-huggers.
It's just that you're not used to properly fitting pants.

After getting used to these pants with a rise of 10 (BR) and 11(Mab),
and slimmer cut legs, I will never go back to normal pants while I am thin.

How do the waist sizes compare? I have a bunch of BR mono but have never tried mabitex. Would a 33 BR be the same waist size?

Don't mean to high jack so to contribute to this thread Club Monaco also has some slim pants under $100 and ok quality - definitely last longer than all my BR pants.

That's only for the chinos though right? Their milano dress pants are all around $250

Is this really a good idea?...sounds like a huge/expensive/messy operation to get your entire pants refitted. Would I be able to take in a pair of BB madison and come out with like a hugo boss red label fit?

Btw I just went to bloomingdale's today and tried a pair of hugo boss red label pants, the fit is definitely good, but a bit pricey at around $200 a pop. I have seen some RLPL on ebay, how do they compare to hugo in terms of fit?

Actually, I have BR in 32, and Mabitex in 34. BR in 32 is perfect Mabitex 32 was too small. Mabitex 34 is slightly too big. So, Max is a tighter fit for the same size. I'd say: BR 32 = Mab 33 (if it existed) BR 33 = Mab 34
