Too late now, I suppose. Prosecco is not a bad idea for your olives, but a nice Riesling would be good, and the Lillet was not a bad idea -- I really enjoy a cocktail with my appetizer, though. Bual Madeira would be my call for the rum cake - treacle-y to match the caramel and rum. What did you choose? ~ H

Prosecco but might go with lillet blanc over orange as an apertif course before the appy anyway.

The real question I have to contend with now is where the hell do I find blood oranges??
