I think salary cap is a good thing, prevents teams from buying players. Imagine if the NBA were like the MLB, Knicks might actually make the playoffs and win a championship.
If there were no salary cap, the Knicks would buy all the players they want and bring back Isaiah Thomas to coach them, with the inevitable results--no championship and multiple lawsuits. The Knicks's problems run much deeper than just players.
there's just waaay too much draft buzz this year. its not like one of these picks is going to make a team an instant contender. even through multiple trades the likelihood of a trade through draft picks making a team a contender is miniscule. hopefully i'm wrong and one/multiple guys from this draft develop into hall of famers caliber players. it almost feels like a NFL draft where teams are making all subtle moves that may lead to better role players for teams.
wow, as a Kings fan I hope were not done wheeling and dealing. The last thing we need is another ball stopper like Salmons. Good trade for the Bucks though, they're going to be solid next season if they stay healthy.
