Well, I have never understood the hate for people starting new threads. Its even more vicious in SW&D.

I would think that a lot of members are interested in getting other's opinions rather than endlessly debating about drape, Rubinacci, A& S, Mafoofan, etc which personally I find quite tedious.

The purpose of starting this thread was that people like can get opinions regarding future purchases rather than getting ***** slapped by members who know everything.

Look, there's nothing wrong with starting a new thread, some threads become long and unwieldy making them difficult to search through. Also, if a new thread is started it can allow new members who are unaware of older related threads to join in the discussion and offer fresh perspectives. You're being too touchy.

^^ it's not about me being too touchy, but a lot of newer members get a lot of flak for starting new thread which sometimes I feel is not justified.

What did you want to start the thread about?

aj_del, i think you should forget both the C&J and Peals, and hold out for the Polo Darltons. those Peals are pretty unremarkable in person, imho, whereas the Darltons are pretty ******* awesome

^^ Thanks for your opinion. I am going to wait for the Darlton to pop up in B & S. Moving on, what do you think of these Church loafers. To be worn sockless with cotton office trousers and open neck shirts. On sale for 184 euros less VAT

I like them, at least on the condition that they are not Church "polished binder".

Where are they on sale?

In the latest edition of

I am thinking of getting another Caruso suit since the plain grey one I have gets a positive response on SF.

These are the 3 I am interested in. I want a very boring conservative suit that I dont have to think too much about pairing with what shirt/tie and it should look good with dark brown shoes. I prefer to wear black shoes with dark grey rather than brown.

So, which one to get ? I would get either 1 or 3 but I think that either would be too close to the one I already have ...

@aj_del : You know, personally I like #1 because of the color. But if you're looking to mix up your wardrobe, #2 is your best bet. it's darker, but not black which is nice. I like the light & subtle pin-striping as well.
