The saying that, "God created Rock and Roll so that ugly guys can get laid too" has been attributed to a number of people, most usually Kid Rock, although he probably heard it from someone else.

In that vein, this threak is to take nominations for our own poll for the title of "Ugliest Man in Rock and Roll." Nominations will only be considered valid if accompanied by a photo to validate the claim. Once a good number of nominations have been recieved I will make the determination of the finalists and we'll have a poal.

I'll kick us off with a few just to prime the ugly pump:
Joey Ramone (The Ramones)

Tom Petty (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers)

Surely you can come up with some better ones.

Lemmy, and he would have been a great entry until Shane MacGowan. But MacGowan pretty much ended the thread.

Next to him, Tom Petty now looks like a pretty boy.

Shane's got a new set of chompers now and looks really, really, strange.

For those of us who spun Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash in our youth, it's a bit like seeing the Statue of Liberty with a boob job.
