I've brought 2 pairs of KMW's for chainstitching on separate occasions and they were available for pickup the next day, highly recommended

I'll agree with the above, for SF approved stuff Barney's COOP is as close as you'll get, Bloomingdales has a good selection of more mainstream stuff which no one here likes lol.

The Gaslamp used to have a place, real small though and I doubt it's survived the recession. Skip Horton Plaza, Fashion Valley is the best you're going to get here unfortunately.

If you can, make the drive to SCP in Costa Mesa, it's about an hour north and well worth the drive if you haven't been there. I'm amazed every time I go, how ballin' some of those boutiques are.

Thanks for the update, havent been to Let's Go in several years so I guess they changed a bit, will not bother checking it out next time Im down there... but yeah that's SD in a nutshell, so close (to OC/LA and good shopping), yet so far (only good store is a Barney's Coop).

Man..... Pokez downtown has the best Mexican food/portions in San Diego. Everybody I took there loves it. Just go in there with an open mind.

As far as fashion... there's no really GREAT spots. Costa mesa is a good idea if you're up for tha drive. If not, stick to Fashion Valley or La Jolla.
