I'll be in San Diego in a month and would like to pick up a pair of APC NS in black. Can anyone direct me to a store?

Any other suggestions for great San Diego stores to visit?

Thanks.

The only stockist I know that carries APC anything in San Diego is Barney's COOP in fashion valley mall.
While you're in town, you should definitely stop by Lolitas for a box of carne asada fries

Fashion Valley = pleez shoot me

Mission Valley Nordstroms Rack...so forth...just as dull. Two shots to the head.

Go get a buncha ones at the casino, do a buffet, then head down to Hong Kong club or Adelitas in TJ for some time wasting.

Go to LA. There is no fashion in San Diego, unless your idea of it calls for quiksilver shirts, board shirts and vans/flipflops.

Yes Barneys as others have said. As for the best mexican food in San Diego there is no question that it is Super Cocina. It's not a taqueria, they serve regional Mexican dishes that rotate every day, many dishes youll never see outside of mexico or a decent knowledge of LA restaurants. It's one of those rare places that most cities dream of. If this place was located in Manhattan youd have Manhattan assholes lining up in large numbers to sample it. However it's in San Diego in a somewhat poor neighborhood. Oh well.

PF Changs in La Jolla, right in front of UTC mall, awesome if you've never tried it, also Mister A's downtown SD if you like good steak.

Fashion in SD kinda sucks, its mostly surfer/beach, sporty/outdoors and hoodrat attire that prevails down there, sadly Fashion Valley is your only bet, either Coop or NM, other than that you're better off driving 100 miles north and hit SCP in OC or some shops in the SM/LA area.

There was a shop in La Jolla called "let's go" that also had some out of the norm brand jeans, not sure if its still there but they might have apc's.

There's a place or 2 downtown that carry some denim. I forgot what they were called but when I walked in I saw some nudies, apc, and some other brands. If I remember the store Ill let you know. Try and yelp it though and see.

Let's Go is still there, I was just in the other day. Lots of D-bag stuff though, I don't think it would fit the aesthetic around here. I'll agree with the above, for SF approved stuff Barney's COOP is as close as you'll get, Bloomingdales has a good selection of more mainstream stuff which no one here likes lol. The Gaslamp used to have a place, real small though and I doubt it's survived the recession. Skip Horton Plaza, Fashion Valley is the best you're going to get here unfortunately. If you can, make the drive to SCP in Costa Mesa, it's about an hour north and well worth the drive if you haven't been there. I'm amazed every time I go, how ballin' some of those boutiques are.
