Jesus what did you do in highschool? I couldn't bear the thought of my kid playing tennis ball soccer in the concrete playground like we used to with a new pair of English benchmade shoes. What a waste! After a term my school shoes always had the **** kicked out of them and the soles worn through... Unless your kid is strictly into chess I think you may be going a little OTT.

Plus, if your kid's school was anything like mine I'm not sure his classmates will appreciate this aesthetic... I would say save the nice shoes until he gets a job in a bank.

Just sayin'.

^ C&J Conistons? I have the similar BB Peal that chorse proxied last year. Def. apply some Sno Seal; I put some on mine and it didn't really darken the leather much at all.

Isis doesn't have an external heel counter. And the Sloane below doesn't have channeled soles.

In any case, those look pretty good jjl. Curious, what does the kid think of his old man's collection?

Isaia green chukka boots

Been going to SaksOff5th since they open the first outlet stores and this is the 1st pair of high-end shoes I ever found in my size. The gloves are RLPL suede w/cashmere lining (RL outlet store).

I posted last month that Saks distributed some high-end (left over from summer clearence sales)to their Off5th outlets. It seems that most stores got a few odds&ends in broken sizes. The other Isaia styles were sneakers

This was the only one of it's kind. It had retailed for $995 and I paid $325.
