Would you really get any practical use out of boots like that? Especialy ones that cost $60?

- From the picture, one can deduce that those shoes are made by Cucinelli. They have the aesthetic of Cucinelli. Plus, the pic was shoot at Pitti Uomo (although that does not prove any point). - BTW, why would you want to purchase hiking boots? Correct me if I'm wrong but it does not really snow in India.

As I mentioned, to me they dont have the aesthetic of BC. I didn't expect BC hiking boots to look like this. Anyways, what I think is a moot point, since they ARE BC hiking boots.

Regarding why I want them, I like the look of them. I had asked ops about Diemme hiking boots around 7-8 months back, much before I saw these.

Now, before I saw the BC ones, my fabourite was this one though I havent bought them due to the limited used I would get out of them. But I personally think that even BC ones (or for that matter any designer ones) are not meant to actually hike in.

- They look great, but aj_del I think you have to ask yourself multiple times whether you're going to get more use out of these hiking boots & whether or not it is necessary to buy them because I believe these would end up on the B&S subform after you buy them. Just my 2 cents

The hiking boots; the soles are flat.

Ah, my snow boots (soles are too flat as well, but they at least have some heel)...

I like the hiking boots look, not for everyday in the city, but on weekend or for walking the dog in style on sunday afternoon.

And fox, actually hiking boots can come very handy in some parts of India, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for example.

^^ They are being featured in Details, being made by Cucinelli and countless other fashion houses. They are no longer for hiking, just weekend boots. Leave aside India, you dont need them in Florence ...
