Despite myself, I've no true disdain for this outfit other than a twinge of bow tie and wallet chain snobbery - the fellow inteprets his proportions and palette well

I'm unable to reconcile myself with clip-on braces, they always seem completely superfluous...

Ditto. The tie also appears to be a clip on. It looks too straight and perfect.

Take note fugazzi-sprezz followers: it looks like the unbuckled monk fad is officially over on the Italian side.

Lino and the guy in the blue polo/sportcoat have the buckle undone, in the second pic it looks like Lino's second in command has both buckles done, he will be reprimanded.

BTW, are there no pooper scooper laws in Italy? I don't see Lino in his current togs picking up after his dog.

I don't see Lino's buckle undone... must I see an optometrist?

The other guy looks so ridiculous with his polo collar sticking out that I must have blocked his dirty-a$$ shoes off

Lino has the back buckle undone, Mr. Polo has both buckles undone! Check out the popped collar on the white polo shirt guy.

It seemed churlish to pull him up on the clips of his braces (and bow, although I hinted at it) when I thought that in principle, they work well within the outfit

I agree with you, he has some beautiful stuff, but he usually kills them by adding some "I've tried too hard" sprezzatura.
