from the pics Isee 2 things 1. they aren't that skinny 2. his fades suck

14 months of wear? wtf? I got better fades with apcs worn for 3 months doing nothing but sitting and washing 3 times.

Just repair the crotch and keep on truckin dude. My Naked and Famous jeans have had the crotch repaired like 4 times. It looks like someone attacked them with a cheese grater but who is staring at your crotch anyway with general wear.

I've had three blowouts total - two one side, one the other side. I just get them stitched up real good and they're good to go. Last one was done by Malaysian tailor and she pretty much triple reinforced with underlying denim so much that the boys feel it when I move my legs now - not uncomfortable though. Too bad the rest of the jean is on the road to the end of developing small holes in the lower leg area. Three years use outta a new/used deluxe Ralph is pretty good though in my books. Anyone know where I can get an identical pair of new/used deluxe ralphs - I prefer them over the selvedge and greycast ones.

The washes and rinses of Nudie Jeans are by far, superior to many others. I often like their pre-washed Grim Tim's.

I've never had a crotch blow out on any pair of denim I've owned. The only huge quality problems I've ever experienced has been on a pair of $500 Rick Owens jeans.

I'm not familiar with Nudies... What's the story? Good company? Good denim? I tend to buy a lot of Diesel Jeans cause they always seem to fit me extremely well. Nudies worth a try? Was thinking: Slacker Jack Night Thunder. I like boot cut, classic fit denim.

as was pointed out earlier, it's more to do with the fit than anything else. Plus, your "lifestyle" might have some implications. plus the denim quality and construction is somewhat relevant, but not as much as you might think.
