I have a charcoal hopsack in the works for days when I put out the trash.
Are you having it cut as a Siren suit?

Have you considered one of those faux tweeds in the Harrison's Glorious Twelfth bunch? Those cloths give the impression of texture without the roughness inherent in a real tweed, they also have a greater variety of colour than your standard suitings allowing you more opportunity to experiment with different looks, it's also a lot lighter than real tweed. I think Voxsartoria has a SBPL from one of the cloths in this range.

When my son was five, we passed a garbage truck as I was driving him to kindergarten. He asked me why I couldn't be something more interesting, like a garbageman.
I just ordered a pair of pants from the Minnis Worsted Allsport book which is very similar to the Glorious Twelfth. I was thinking the fabrics would make a very nice suit, sort of citified tweed. Maybe a blue donegal from one of those books would work.
Here's your chance to look like you're one even if you cant be one. Navy hopsack suit. A charcoal one will look more like a nurse's aid.
The guys at the Hickey Freeman store in SF once suggested I get a suit in navy hopsack. They thought it was a pretty standard, traditional choice.
Anyway, 'Buff, what cloths would you suggest and why? Take a look at his blog to get an angle on his style.
I'm done with that here. There's nothing in it for me and some of these guys are so incredibly confused, and fasten themselves onto the most curious of side issues, they're beyond help.
Well, if there wasn't anything in if for you, you wouldn't continue to post would you.
Good day, sir.
