Lattanzi seems to hop from one extreme to the other. Some of the stuff is beautiful and some of the stuff is just plain fugly.

ha ! Good point, but I don't think so. At the time JLC came up with their JL logo (1960's?), John Lobb's logo was the St-James logo and I don't think the JLP logo we know now existed yet.
