Grenson is the new Kurt Geiger provider.

My impression is RLPL was EG's biggest single contractor. Maybe EG sells more of its own-branded shoes, but RLPL was the most widespread retailer of EG to my knowledge. If this causes EG to go under, it would be too bad.

I'm not sure if EG has lost this contract.

Currently the London RL store (maybe all other stores as well) is having a made-to-order promotion
and the EG designed RLPL shoes are still on display for customers to place new orders.

Hmmm...they seem fine.

Neither EG nor G&G seem quite as nice as Lobb to me, but the differences are not sufficient to my eye to be more important than if the particular shoe looks good on the foot and fits comfortably.

I thought, contrary to popular belief, that EG are doing quite well. Are they not just opening a shop in Paris?

Colossally stupid of them. French iGents either go to London/order from EG directly during the sales in order to avoid paying the prices charged in France (currently at Old England) or prefer the more streamlined looks of Marc Guyot/Altan/Berluti/etc.

If the 888 isn't streamlined enough for a Frenchman then I don't know what is.

I could say the same thing re my Loake 1880s vs. my single pair of EG and my C&Js. However, in this instance, EGs at full retail are more than 4x the price of Loakes, yet I don't think they're 4x as 'nice'.

Although a few of their designs aren't my cup-ah-tea, I like G&G Enlish styled shoes very much. Their shoe styles are not fussy ...

I find this hard to believe given Fuuma's well-known inability to make an arc.

Since he, thus, sits, a projectile hit or side splash is a vanishingly small possibility.

This is also true at RL in Beverly Hills.
