Try Modern Family and Flash Forward. Probably the two most promising shows of the new season so far. A part of me wants to give up Gossip Girl but since Hilary Duff is guest-starring in a few episodes, I'm reassessing.

Picking up:
Breaking Bad
Mad Men
Battlestargate: Voyager (AKA Stargate: Universe)

Giving up:
Lost (even though I only got a few episodes into the first season it seems terrible)
Fringe if they don't impress me by midseason (unlikely to happen, walter is awesome, but i have doubts about the Charlie storyline)

Fringe is awesome. Don't hesitate if you like off the wall pseudosciency **** such as a mole-rat/scorpion/human hybrid baby as rendered by the Steward of Gondor in a lab coat and the dude from Dawson's Creek.

Community has not caught my attention at all but I might give it a try if there are enough recommendations.

Don't have tv, so I just watch from Hulu and torrent if I have to.

Watching Flashforward, Modern Family, and House Husbands of Hollywood( surprisingly pretty good and entertaining).

TBL was cancelled if I am not mistaken. My friends swear it was pretty decent though. Regarding 90210: From what I've read, season 2 has actually improved. However, it's no Gossip Girl that's for sure.
