I cringed when he stated this. It's not about age, it's about performance.

Yes, meant Jacksonville. Opposites attract I suppose

I'd love to go to Jacksonville for the game - last time I went was 2007 (the year of "the dance"). Unfortunately, I'm going to be doing too much traveling in November to be able to make the game this year. I had hotel reservations and everything, but I had to cancel them.

I'm actually in Athens as well. Oddly enough, you and your wife are the opposite of my wife and me - I'm the Dawg, she's the Gator.

Yeah - GREAT onside kick by Tennessee only to be negated by poor line play on the field goal.

I focused on the Big Ten today. Penn St. looked great against Michigan, and so did OSU against Minn. Purdue pulled off a nice win against a crappy Illinois team, and IU squandered a 25 point lead to lose to NW. Iowa and MSU are both playing well against each other right now.

That's twice now. 52-30, in Lubbock. Seems that Mike Leach's mouth didn't help this time around.

The Coogs played well against SMU, for two quarters. And - a lot of that was luck, SMU had two big drops and a fumble at their 1.

Once I heard Sheffield wasn't going to be playing and Potts returning to QB, I knew we were going to have trouble. Taylor Potts isn't a good QB. At least now Potts finally debunked the myth of you can throw any QB in Leach's system and they'll be successful.

I'm thinking polls should be 1.)Horns, 2.)Florida, 3.)Bama. Florida and Bama have just looked horrid these past few games.

Florida, LSU, and Bama are the clear top 3 and each year one or two of Auburn, Georgia, Arkansas, and South Carolina will field a good team that can beat any team on any given day. I see fourth in the SEC as their ceiling and fifth or so as their expectation as long as Crompton is on the roster. I think Georgia would have to continues it's trend of underachieving/ poor coaching for Tennessee to get back in the picture of being #2 in the East behind UF.
