No way. The amount of fails on SF trying to be funny make me think there is no way he is involved.

True to size on their outerwear. Their shirts and knits, however, tend to be more of a traditional fit, even then they say they're "slim." Nice stuff.

Exactly. I went from buying on there very regularly to almost never.

When they used to have really good sales 99% of the time I would actively check the page every week for which brands they carried, causing me to buy more; furthermore, because I knew they only had quality brands I was much more inclined to buy from brands I wasn't familiar with, assuming quality would be on par with the other brands they carry.

Now it's the opposite. There are so many ****** brands I never bother looking what they carry on any regular basis, and I would never try a brand I didn't have experience with from them, as there is a much higher risk of the item/brand being garbage.

I am with you on all of your points. I dont know if it has to do with the site becoming so huge or what but the gilt has fallen off from what it use to be.

Probably because believe it or not, designers don't have an endless supply of samples/ leftover stock. They can only do so many sales of "good brands" before there isn't any discountable merchandise left. Plus they have to share this merchandise with other discount retailer/sites.

Gilt has had some awesome cookbooks lately though. Copped Momofuku, Bouchon, and Chez Panisse's cookbooks. Half their stuff are from brands I only ever see on Revolve :/ Honestly most of my good cops from them lately have been food-related, with a bit of Jil/Prorsum mixed in

I understand, however this doesn't mean I have to like it when they do this.

I've found books to be an insane rip off on Gilt. Last time they had a sale for designer's books, I found every single one I looked up was cheaper on Amazon.

I will admit cook books might be an exception, I've never looked those up.

My return arrived at Inventory yesterday, hope they refund me today so I can pay for some Junya cords I told a guy I'd buy on Sufu.
