I can't bring myself to completely hate Seconds based strictly on that petroleum tank from last spring. I wish I could find another tank in that exact color. The contrast shit is hideous, though.

W+H was one of the first SF-approved brands I warmed up to after my Hypebeast years. But they've moved so far away from what made them appealing to me that I can barely bring myself to page through the current collections, which range from the really bland to the hideous (oh hai, varsity peacoat).

Chicago's Barney's is decent. St Alfred if you want visvim type stuff. George Greene. lol at/with Teger. With w+h, and I'm just speculating here, I'm not sure how much of their new designer is in the collection. Interesting to see where they go next spring.

The price jumps seem excessive, too. I understand the cost of materials and all that shit goes up, but W+H's field mac was $450 last spring. That raised some eyebrows. Unless I'm missing something, this year's mac is essentially the same aside from a change in color, yet it's nearly $200 more?

Not pay the designers who pieces they sold. Pretty much took advantage of small up and coming designers who did not have the luxury to get paid as soon as orders are made.
