I must be, but it has a little more charm than that typical psych ward drivel! Even if I have been known to invest in that as well..

I'm clearing out some stuff in storage so it's back on the market, but I'll give you first dibs if you want.

pun intended

I quite like this

i tried styling my lanvin nylon pants with shorts over them. didnt look good with the shorts ive got. maybe nylon on nylon would work better.

snowman promised to get those ann sandals in the middle

those anns are marvelous but i already made my sandal purchase.

^ AFL i was gonna write a semi-serious response but alas, kid nickels fudged the bucket. don't invest your happiness in your clothes ...

snowmanxl -- here is my homie on the beach

and here he is in the prince's house playing with a cheetah

did you find appropriate sandals ? although they've had a relative cold spell lately, 10 celsius he said, it's quite hot most times. and the sand ... well, anyway.

cold spell is okay with me, ive got the dior homme shape-shifter sandals :teach:

Had a Paul Smith tee shirt once, it was a PS Japan collabo thing with Jeb Loy Nichols, the neo-country singer. Kinda ethno-art in a reverse applique motif, a pretty involved graphic tee for such a rudimentary design. It was mint colored with black inlay, really cool shirt for 10 years ago. I miss that tee :(

academia is boring, and viewing everything through a lens/in the context of gender analysis makes things.. lifeless. for me fashion is about frivolity and fun, and trying to ascribe deeper theory to it seems the antithesis of what it's about. that's not say that fashion is 100% superflous, but it doesn't stand up to rigorous analysis as much as say.. women's movements in early 20th century america. fashion is illusory.

I thought you would say something like this, and maybe you're right. have to fight the urge to get really pedantic about everything.

Just approach things from a variety of theoretical perspectives. Feminism is one lens to view the world, but it's one of a much larger set of analytical tools.

It's sad how many liberal arts majors don't learn that lesson about liberal arts. It's all RAH RAH CRITICAL THEORY EVERYTHING RAH RAH. No...just...no.
