My gray pair from 06 aren't that comfortable.

They were pretty snug, but they were light and didn't have much give, so my foot stayed in place the whole time, which is great for me because shoes that are too big cause my foot and ankle to slip a bit which is where the discomfort comes from for me.

I don't own any, but they weren't super comfortable when I tried them on either. The Dior German army sneakers are much more comfortable for me...

but I never bought those ones either.

Thanks jet and Stazy. I knew about wool blends counted but I'll make sure to check how they feel.

I'm having a tough time finding shoes in general that I like. I may have stumbled across a great find but I don't know if I want to take the plunge

my two last clothing buys have been at this exquiste chain store. One dark denim bd shir, and one generic flannel. Im doing the "quantity before quality" concept. But as they are aimed at the regular joe, and actually have a "button garantee", I suspect the durability aspect of quality is higher than alot of fast-ish fashion /mid level places.

I used to never have that "problem" either but when garish nikes are released once a week it is easy.

I should rephrase to say that there are a lot of shoes that I like but I have trouble picking out what I would wear/plays well with wardrobe/is somewhat interesting. I guess, as far as shoes go, I'm still finding myself.

If any of that makes sense.

Perfect sense, just like clothes. I've made some shoe mistakes before and ended up selling them not because they weren't nice I just didn't find myself wanting to wear them. After awhile it will click just like the rest.

I rarely buy shoes because there is nothing I ever like but this season is different and I buy what I like then figure out how to coordinate them later.
