If you don't stop with the backtalk I'll pull this forum over and paddle your little fanny right on the side of the information superhighway!

Serious question, what do you say to students who ask "What does this mean? Can you give me a hint?" during an exam?

If they are unclear about what I'm asking, I try to explain it in different words. (Although nothing on the exam is a surprise; we review on the class day prior to the exam.)

If they want a hint, here's what I say: "You should pray to Jesus (send it up). If you have been living your life in a manner of righteous, He will reward you with hint. If he doesn't, then you know you better get right with the Lord, and quick."

I say "Take those puppy dog eyes of yours and direct them heavenward in prayer!"

I don't get people who wear so much scent that they leave it behind like a trail. This morning I got an an empty elevator and startes sneezing, the cologne was so strong. Over the weekend I tried on a henley shirt that had obviously been tried on before - it stank of cologne, and when I took it off I was covered in the cheap crap until I'd changed and showered.

Keep it light, people!

I want to eviscerate the dumb bints that spritz stinky perfume on then come to a wine tasting, or worse yet, are out for the day in wine country stinking up tasting rooms. Mmmm, this excellent wine smells exactly like some spray tanned, bedazzled **** is standing next to me!

I do this but I wear very expensive and high quality fragrances and so I am doing the people I encounter a favor.

Well seeing as Ry and I are fellow alumni, I'm guessing that he would endorse my argument in favor of open book exams.

What's the deal with these ubiquitous Canada Goose coats? How much are these bimbos in Soho spending on these ugly things? Is it safe to assume that if they did not have the Canada Goose patch on the sleeve to vouch for the coat-wearers' credit limit, no self-respecting woman under 40 would dare wear one of these silly things outside of Wisconsin? Of all the fashion trends from the last decade that vainly attempt to masquerade as purely utilitarian, surely these are the most notable.
