I discovered an amazing way to peel garlic and I don't understand how it works.

If you put a clove or a couple of cloves in a sealed hard container, I used a pot, and shake it hard for like 10 seconds the garlics peel themselves perfectly. Its amazing, its the peel comes off perfectly intact too. Spent so long peeling garlic manually and this way you can peel like 2 heads of garlic in a minute. Have no idea how it works though, I did it with an onion too though and that kind of worked too.

this is interesting... but is peeling garlic really so hard? I hear this all the time and I don't get the "it's difficult to peel garlic scenario". When it's very fresh and moist I hear you, but most garlic in the store has been sitting there for quite awhile already... needless to say I'm gonna try this! :fonz:

When you wanna peel like 2 heads of it, its kind of a ***** to do. Not hard it just takes a while and you get that residue on your hands and occasionally a bit of skin sticks onto it and is really hard to get off. This you just put them all in a pot and shake it and the skin falls off perfectly, its amazing. Keep finding excuses to put garlic on stuff just to keep doing it.

It really was too easy. But I'm up in Wisconsin visiting my family, and I've got nothing better to do than pick the low-hanging fruit on Internet forums.

I usually just smush it with a spoon and the skin is easy to take off.

Fat chics and their love of black, skin tight, cameltoe inducing stirrup pants.
