Hey guys,

I realize that some of you may not agree, but I really like his hair in this ad. I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations on how to get it. Specifically, what shampoo/conditioner, type of brush, and hair products should I use to get similar hair?

Your hair does't even have to be that log. You just need a lot of mousse. Forget hair gel and don't worry about what shampoo your using.

Gel is stronger than Mousse. You'd want a strong hold gel and run it through your hair while still wet to get that look in the pic.

Don't you use pomade for that look?

If that doesn't work, try making a bunch of ****** movies with shirtless scenes.

I think you need a tin of grooming "clay." Fekkai makes it as does Baxters of California. Clay doesn't dry up like gel or mousse, yet it's not shiny. And, it lasts all day unlike gel/mousse/cream.

Well I too prefer clay because I don't like gels..I loose a lot of hairs when I use gel.

hahah! brilliant.

I'm assuming some good old wax may do the trick.

But have fun washing it out.

I rock something like the above haircuts pretty often. Gel isn't going to work unless you like the 'wet' look, which reeks of used car salesman I think. some sort of clay or pomade works best. just apply liberally, and use a brush with a lot of bristles to brush the hair back. apply as much product as needed til you get the desired results
