noodle is pretty good. lots of meat and the poached egg. mmm. ippudo is like a block away tho if you want better ramen. the dessert bar is ok (the bao is pretty good, but definitely not a normal bao). but i have a feeling you're talking about ko. oh man i want to try ko.

I went to Noodle Bar with a friend. It was very good, but cost almost $100 for two people who ordered ramen as main dishes. That is a bit much. Pork buns were very good, however I have had better, bigger ones for 1/3 the price downtown. Of course the decor was non-existent whereas Noodle Bar is trendy.

Momfuku ssam is good, but has enjoyed a disproportionate amount of hype in the past year or so. Go if you're curious but don't expect it to change your life.

I think I've poured more money into Momofuku Bakery (specifically, their Banana cookies) than any other Washingtonian. Haven't been to Ssam, but I will at some point.
As for their noodles, I'd say Ippudo is superior (it's too bad their toasted miso ramen from February was temporary).

My girlfriend raves about Momofuku. It's going to be location for one of our next "dine out" nights soon.
I do agree that the Bon Chon chicken is pretty damn tasty too. I've only ever been to the Bon Chon on 5th Ave near K-Town.
