Looking for some neat food places to hit up; like those kinds of small, one-off, family owned hole-in-the wall restaurants with great food.

We went to Jamaican Pizza Jerk on Commercial Dr. last week and it was great. $45 we got a large pizza with jamaican jerk chicken and fresh tomatoes, goat curry, jerk chicken and fish roti.

Thanks

Nick's Spaghetti House - 631 Commercial Drive Vancouver

Traditional family owned italian place. It was the place to get italian food in Vancouver in the 90's, a favorite of local athlethes (Canucks), local politians and the occasional celebrity.

The last decade has seen it decline a little bit into mediocrity, a result of it's popularity being increased prices and decreased quality. But overall it's still worth a visit.
