you guys got some nice **** going on here. i've worn my samurai's for bout a month or 2 longer than the contest sammies and i still aint got no holes or rips n tears in them. Maybe i need to pickup skateboarding as a hobby hahaha, na think i'll just float around in them, the back pockets on mine are fading well, some fade in the wiskers area and minimal fading on the honeycombs area. I bought my sam's a size larger than i wear and i lost an inch in the waist so they are baggy as hell. Just did a wash in the washer hopefully it will help, but i like the way they fit, roomy and all. Also been wearing my sugar cane hawaii's on my non-samurai days. Not much going on with those. Still havent even touched the Iron Hearts yet.

I went the exact same route. Nothing against the LVCs, as they were very good and broke in nicely, but the PBJs are another level in my opinion.

yeah.. i like my lvc, but they dont compare to my samurai...

once the waist stretches out a bit more the fit will be great tho... my 47s in a 30w(pre shrink) are the tightest jeans i own.

Yeah, I found LVCs to be extremely tight. My APCs and PBJs are 30, and neither are close to the tightness of the 47s I had, which were also a 30. The tagged size on Levis is pre-shrink, right?

^^^correct. I think it is always cool to have a worn in pair of levis in the rotation. Its always good to pay homage to the original.

I love the button-fly atarti on those - very nice.

My sweetheart of a wife gave me a pair of Sugarcane '45 Lee repros for our christmas last night. Left-hand twill, greenline selvage, crotch rivet - just great pantaloons. They're from mil-mil.net, where they're under $150. I got the no-wash version, so I gave them an hour hot soak after these pictures, then wore them damp to stretch them back out. I'm a 31 in Nudies, 33 in Imperial, and 30 in Levi's, so I ordered these in a 31. The hips, thighs, and calves fit just like I was hoping (which is a little more relaxed than everything else I wear), but the waistband is still pretty restrictive. I'm hoping it'll stretch over the next couple days - even a half-inch would make them easier to wear.

I put them on my dresser last night, and goddamn Fran, are they stiff this morning. The knees were bent from where I laid them last night, and it was like stuffing my legs into bent cardboard tubes. I suffer for fashion.
