Since shoreman has his preference, maybe we can do a separate buy.

Do you mean Pic #1, or are you referencing some other pic?

If you mean pic #1, I'm in given workable measurements

To shoreman:
I think its worthwhile to see if in addition to the swatches they'd be willing to send along a sample just for sizing purposes (not necessarily even in the same colors as what we'd end up ordering, just something they had on hand). You'd try it on, take some measurements, snap a few pictures and send it back to them. I would think they'd let you do this if you paid a deposit or something.

Just to clarify, the one shown in pic #1 is burgundy body / burgundy leather sleeves.

I'm still wondering what grey leather sleeves look like. Interesting how so many of us voted for that option, sight unseen.

That's where I am as well. I thought it sounded great at first blush but now I'm wondering. If it's a flat dark grey it can end up looking brownish and that's no good. i think a lighter medium-grey with a lot of grain to it might look really great though. I'm still up for seeing the samples for sure.

i like the one blackplatano has a boner for but the zippered pockets look like they would be painful to use (imagine hands thrust in them on a cold day)----dealbreaker

yeah the gray sleeves are off putting----maybe if they were a brown leather with a maroon body i could be into that yeah

A jacket just like #1 but with regular pockets is perfect IMO.

And again, double zipper front >>>>>>>>>>>.....>>> snaps

Ah you're right...at a quick glance it looked gray with red undertones. I still like the first one the most as is right now, though I'd be interested in seeing how it looked with gray sleeves.

Yes. Please see Joel Goodsen's jacket in Risky Business. The colors are classic in that jacket and it was pretty slim too.
