Chicago for a Night

Heading to Chicago tomorrow night for an interview Tues. morning. Just looking for any ideas of places to grab a bite to eat or that has a decent beer selection to get out for a little bit. Never been to the city before.

I'm being put in the Renaissance downtown at Wacker and State. 22 years old, I'm sure age will effect suggestions. If anyone thinks they'll be bored tomorrow gimme a PM and we can plan to meet up.

If you just want a chill place to grab some nice beers and some casual dinner, I'd check out Hopleaf. It's a bit of a hike from downtown, but with an El pass, easy to get to. Worth the trip, IMO.

Right on Michigan Av, south of you, there's a place called The Gage. Great food and beer selection. Walking distance. And it's right in front of Millennium Park.

Mondays are "Recession Proof Mondays" where everything is 50% off at the bar we drink at after class. I will be getting sloooooshed!

Mondays are quiet and the loop is generally quiet. If the interview is later in the day, find out where industry night is in River North ($5 cab ride from the loop) and there will be lots of drunken, slutty, potentially-fake-tittied bartenders out.
