Tailor Etiquette Question
It is true in that some tailors have house styles and do not like to deviate from them. My dry cleaner who I take hems to thought I was crazy for asking for 2" cuffs not 1.5" haha. Imagine me trying to explain Spalla Camicia from my Kiton jacket haha!- trt2000

Evolution of proper shirt fit
proper changes through time. Same as suit gorges, shirt collars, and other things. There is I think a sweet spot where if you never change a thing, you will at least be within the sphere of contemporary thinking.- trt2000

Analysis: 6 tweed jackets. Tipping point(s) b/w "old man" mothball vs stylish/trendy?
I have a green Tweed coat that I pretty much lived in this winter and got compliments all the time. It really is the fit. It's a Michael Bastian made by Cucinelli that fits me like a glove. Yes, I do try to purposely match it with an outfit leaning towards modern to even things out.- trt2000

The Definitive Guide to Slim Fit Shirts
Not sure this has been addressed but are there any shirts for a decent price (under $100) that isn't billowy and doesn't have a huge ass drop? I want to wear it untucked. In general if you want a shirt that you could wear to work, and on weekends t will be Italian. Brits tend to distinguish...- trt2000

Why don't people at SF like Hugo Boss?
In general I would say their build quality and fabrics are not quite terrible, but fit and general fashion sense CAN be quite nice. If you can find a regular line shirt you like the fabric, or find a "Select" line it could be a nice machine made shirt.- trt2000
