The Casual Suit vs. Odd Jacket and Trousers

Sorry to revive this thread, but this is a topic I think of often. Over the years, I have found that no matter ho much you spend on clothing, it is somewhat disosable, doesn't last forever. When I'm out with clients and something gets on my suit I would never show any concern over it even if it...

    Trumps suits are getting better

I also suspected that they were ill fitting on purpose, possibly a costume to appeal to middle America. When you look at Trump in his much younger days, his suits did look much better. My other theory is that as his body got worse over the years, he did not want to dedicate any time to...

    Trumps suits are getting better

Has anyone else noticed that trump has recently traded the oversized, off the rack brionis for suits that actually fit and are obviously custom tailored?

    Suitsupply NYC

This is interesting. I live in The Woodlands, a affluent suburb of Houston, TX. I have been buying filler pieces for my wardrobe from Suit Supply a long time, mostly odd jackets. I like the Jort stuff. Anyway, SS just opened their Woodlands store. What makes it very interesting is they...

farmers insurance agent- good career choice?

There is a lot of money to be made in sales, however I would suggest finding a way to get into tech/software sales, SaaS sales, the more complex the product the better, like if the product has an accounting, logistics, medical component and you learn that too, even better.

Suit and sweater for job interview?

Ok. I agree with you now. Now that you have enlightened me, I will go find some nice harmless person who is "different" than me and insult and harass them. Thank you for opening my eyes. I was all wrong. You are all a bunch of swell guys.

Suit and sweater for job interview?

You are right I have no idea if he is gay. I was just trying to somehow rationalize what i saw. So why exactly did you guys attack him like that?

Suit and sweater for job interview?

"nominated for the next poll" Maybe the problem is that there was a poll in the first place. I concede that this poll could have been started by anyone and how do you stop such a thing rom happening. You all voted for a gay guy just because he is gay. I do not like hanging around gay dudes...

Suit and sweater for job interview?

You guys are really rude! This is a pretty dumb question, but not dumb enough to warrant alot of your responses. I am pretty sure that you don't treat people so poorly out in public. If you did, you would probably get your teeth kicked in. I guess from the safety of your keyboard, you can make...

    Flat Front...Cuffs?

I personally like no cuffs with flat fronts. Latey I have bought some suits and trousers that have a single pleat. I opted for cuffs on those. I think as long as you are not wearing very full, double reverse pleats without cuffs, you are probably ok. Now someone will probably say, " I get...
