    Tax the dog!

Dogs held by people who are not farmers are useless much more so than cars, for obvious reasons. I know some blind people who are going to be unhappy once you're in charge. Lucky for you, they won't be able to find you anymore.

    Haspel? Comments on this jacket?

Can you offer a better alternative, in the same colour? If not camelhair then corduroy would be cool. this is about the same quality for 1/3 the price. sizes are limited though.link

    OK...what is a "threak"?

I've always assumed it was just a purposeful mistyping to show how leet you are in the interwebz. Like "teh" or "pron"

Overcoat help for a SF noob :/

Last Time I was at NMLC they had Burberry overcoats at 40% off (came to about $350 each after all discounts) Off 5th also had a decent selection of overcoats in about the same price range.

Shirt Fabric Swatches --Modern Tailor-- Take a look and pass it along...

I'm interested in taking a look at the swatches. They change fabric so often though I wonder how many of the swatches you have are still for sale, and how many new ones have been added. Regardless, I'm in.

    $1000 Budget...need a suit for a wedding

Go to Saks first, they'll have more options in sizes for you to try on. Start with 6" above your pants size and then try on smaller or larger from there. Find a jacket that fits before trying on pants (pants waists can be modified 2" either way ussually, jackets not so much). Put...

    $1000 Budget...need a suit for a wedding

For $1000 you've got lots of options, I'd recommend: Saks off Fifth: Having a 40% off suit sale right now, you can pick up a Hickey Freeman for about $400, and they might have Zegna and Isaia in stock for about $800 Marshalls(across from the Galleria next to the Grand Lux Cafe): Last time I...

    Zac Efron Clothing Questions

Screw all these homos, Zac is massive. What kind of hat is Zac wearining in this picture of him half naked and kissing another man?

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

All polished and ready to go (J&M shoe cream for now, better later), free of all the minor scuffs and blemishes that probably kept the layperson away from them as they sat and waited for me. Plan to wear them out tomorrow. Funny thing is as excited as I am about my new shoes, I dare not tell...

Minimum number of shoes for 2 week trip?

I have dramatically improved my skill in traveling with carry-on only for short business trips, i.e. less than a week. Every trip I made, I am figuring out something else to cut out and I think I have pretty much reached the limit on everything except the shoes. Are 2 pairs of shoes absolutely...

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

Maybe it's the tax guy in me that's saying this, but you should be especially thankful that you were able to use pre-tax money for this purchase. I won't get into the possible negative consequences from getting money out of a 401K in this manner (probably no big deal). True, all things...

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

The universe wants you to post your coupon. The coupon is only good today, and only at the outlet in Allen, TX. But if anyone's interested here it is: NMLC Coupon

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

It's a sign of my SF addiction that having read your first post, I was actually emotionally invested in you getting these shoes. ha Glad to hear you were rooting for me. It really was a spectacular find, what are the odds that the nicest shoes I've ever seen at NMLC would fit me perfectly...

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

Apparently the universe loves me, they were there and more beautiful then I remembered them. The Universe also gave me a very nice Zegna mainline suit in about a 40R (Looks to be a MTM that was never picked up). Will be in B&S tonight. I'll leave you with a quote from my fiance "Asking those...

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

I think it is the universe setting you up for a cruel and practical joke. I'm trying not to get hopes up too high, worse case scenario if some big timer has stolen them out of my grasp I'll still have 40% off of a consolation prize.

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

How are you still on SF posting, when you should be at NM last call? Oh, I would be, but the coupon is literally only good for Sept. 30, and only at the one NM store. I'm hoping the $700 price tag has kept the average shopper away for the last 2 weeks, but with a 40% off coupon floating about...

Does the Universe want me to buy these shoes?

I'm not a religious man, but recent events have let me to believe that some force in the universe wants me to buy a beautiful pair of John Lobbs. About 2 weeks ago while at Nieman Marcus Last Call I tried on an awesome pair of brown Oxfords. They fit me perfectly, but alas, even at 50% off $700...

where to get?: good white faced, black leather band, mechanical wound wrist watch

I was under the impression that the Seiko Spirit and the Seiko 5 were all automatic is well. Is there any reason you're set on a manual instead of an automatic? The only difference as I understand it is that the Manual has to be wound by hand while the automatic winds itself as you move around.

    Give this one a try, $215 - 30% = $150.50. $.50 over budget, but not bad. http://www.orientwatchusa.com/watch.php?id=429
