    Just saw Ng sifu's Facebook update. This is the first time I see him doing a 3-roll-2 jacket. I am not sure if it's a structural thing or just he pressed too hard when ironing the lapel. I think Wong SY sifu has a better execution on 3-roll-2.

    I love Lof and Tung's shoes, but there's one thing I don't get. Part of the reason (if not all) to have a closed channel sole is to achieve a clean sole, I don't understand why they make markings at the area where it supposes to be clean.

    Is the area around the milanese buttonhole creasing like this acceptable? I have a few suits done by the same tailor before and it is the first time this is happening.     Hi guys, what do you think of high twist fabrics? I have heard all the good things about wrinkle resistant feature etc, but when I was looking at standeven explorer book the other day, the peeling of fabrics in the book really puts me off.

    I think the length of jacket and the width of the lapel are fine as is (Ng sifu probably gave you the same view), but at the end of the day, these are matters of personal taste.

    Literally next door to Mr. Ng has Wong sifu. Highly recommended! If you are getting TM, he can source the fabrics for you without any mark-up.

    Another feature is that crust leather is softer thus the creases are more predominant than box calf leather. You should strip off the whole shoes and apply the patina, otherwise it'll just look weird. An experienced local cobbler should do a decent job.

    Have you tried Ng sifu? How do you compare Ng sifu with Wong SY sifu? I have been a regular customer of Ng sifu and now I'm contemplating whether to give Wong SY sifu a try. Does the end product justify the higher price tag? Cheers.
