An answer and a question. To the above: No - pretty much any shoe, especially leather, will look bad if worn without rotation. Shoes For Summer (110 Degrees F+)
I live in SoCal, so I have to deal with this regularly. I generally find the best solution to be any (generally lighter colored) suede - my guess is that the larger total surface area, added to the fact that they tend to be thinner combine to make them an excellent choice. Cheapest decent, modern-fitting suit.
I recommend against the black as well, unless you happen to be of a certain body type, etc, though that's a whole other discussion... That said, I've found more than a few good Zegnas on ebay for less than $300. Some Hickey can be decent on ebay for that price (don't recommend wool/poly, though)...- incastoutcast
