    MADE IN CHINA

Any source on the minimum wage thing? They aren't great sources but I found these that would disagree: http://www.prisonpolicy.org/prisonindex/prisonlabor.html http://motherjones.com/politics/2008/07/what-do-prisoners-make-victorias-secret And I remember Russell Athletics stuff coming...

    NHL 2010-2011 Season

Washington is such a lose lose lose draft draft draft win team though, and I hate that model. Pit did it, won a cup, Chicago did it, won a cup. The Oilers are the next ones to pull that crap. It's why you have to respect the red wings. Thing about Van is the regular season is almost a fait...

    NHL 2010-2011 Season

I don't really see the Canucks going that far this season - wasn't all that impressed with them last season, and have been sadly underwhelmed by Luongo (was it a good year for any goalie last year? I mean, Halak had his 15 minutes, but...) That said, I think they'll beat the Hawks. I really...

Ask a Question, Get an Answer - ask all quick questions here

An answer and a question. To the above: No - pretty much any shoe, especially leather, will look bad if worn without rotation. Shoes need time to breathe and recover - they'll last a lot longer that way. Sounds like you got lucky with those Clarks. Don't push your luck. Now my question for...

    Tips on Spotting Fake Rolexes

Reevolving - I think your "friend" got ripped off. He could have easily bought an Orient Mako for about $100 - That's %33 of his cost! And it would almost certainly get him the compliments and the longevity of the "real" Rolex. Besides, less chinese workshop manufacturing...

    Tie Clip vs. Pin/Tack

^To that end, be sure the pin is nice and thin.

    Tie Clip vs. Pin/Tack

Anything woven actually goes through pretty easy - if you insert a pin carefully, you should just be able to massage the "hole" out. Ultimately, you shouldn't actually be puncturing anything - just separating fibers - so the weave has to be a little loose. My favorite is a simple...

    Sleeping on long flights

You may just be like me. Seems I don't fall asleep in moving vehicles of any kind - planes, trains, automobiles. When I was in college, I did a semester of study in Israel. The week before leaving, I was not feeling well, but I still got up at 6:00 and went to bed at 2:00, because 10:00-2:00...

Best Solution: Shirt cuff width and length while wearing watch

^ Fair enough, and I was being a little facetious. Generally, it seems to me that both cuffs bigger isn't a bad solution - of course, this may depend on your wrist-to-hand ratio, and I will admit it's almost impossible not to get sleeves that will pull up and back when the arm is across the...

Best Solution: Shirt cuff width and length while wearing watch

Find a thinner watch? (you can keep your thick one, just have a thinner one for dressy shirts...)

Shoes For Summer (110 Degrees F+)

I live in SoCal, so I have to deal with this regularly. I generally find the best solution to be any (generally lighter colored) suede - my guess is that the larger total surface area, added to the fact that they tend to be thinner combine to make them an excellent choice. Topsiders can work...

Double-breasted suit w/ button down shirts or dark-colored shirts

I actually like a black tie with a navy suit... but it has to be done right, and the navy has to have more blue than some navies I've seen. As to sho'nuff's questions: First off, to me, darker shirt than suit is a bit definitely ninties. The reason I've always heard that one should not wear a...

    Cheapest decent, modern-fitting suit.

I recommend against the black as well, unless you happen to be of a certain body type, etc, though that's a whole other discussion... That said, I've found more than a few good Zegnas on ebay for less than $300. Some Hickey can be decent on ebay for that price (don't recommend wool/poly, though)...

    Critique This Watch

I'll heartily recommend the Orient Mako (as seen above) - I've been hunting around for a watch, and will buy the blue one soon. It's got great reviews everywhere, it's nice and solid, classic looking watch with a beautiful numbering style.
