linen shirt with what fabric on the jacket?

Why do i get this gap when having a shirt with a tie?
As in the pictures: I know that you should tighten the tie, but when i do it more then i have on the pictures it feels like i should be strangled. Is it because the shirt i have on is fitting to tight around the neck? Thanks for the advice.- Mrlol

I have a fitting problem when wearing chelsea boots.
