What exactly is Cordovan Cont. leather?

Reviving this thread with an answer since it's the top search result for "cont cordovan". Cont is reverse leather, with the full grain (hairless) on the inside and the flesh on the outside. If they are unlined then the actual full grain side will be touching your feet. Guidi offers this not...

Only mention of /V in the fabric guide is a viscose/silk velour. I would pass if that's the case, velour and velvet not great for pods. I'm not 100% as I can't find that exact product and Rick is known to reuse fabric codes.

Really need the product code to be able to tell the difference, the last letter or two will be the fabric code. Probably size 48.

Mastopros run a half size small to the US size. Some people get away with TTS but I had to size up. Rickdidas EU sizing is actually FR and best to ignore. You want either 12US or 12.5US. I'm 45EU in most mainline shoes and went with 12.5US in Mastopros.

That's odd, I can still access it. I think dude that was maintaining it lost all his photos and gave up, but what's there should still be there. Maybe you gotta log in?

Here's the big flickr album. Mostly dudes in socks.

Look good to me. Best way to tell is to compare the zippers and where the stitching on the sole ends to a legit pair.

The Torrences I tried on fit about 2" big in the waist.

Creatch aren't really Creatch aren't really too drop crotch. The rise usually changes about .75" on drop crotch between sizes. There are way too many Rick stockists to keep up with them all. It's not like CCP or even BBS where it's difficult to track down. I found those last ones by searching...

Most drawstrings fit similarly. The M is gonna be 2" more waist and 1" more thigh, maybe 1" more inseam. You can always tie the drawstring. Here's another pair in S from a retailer.

Be super careful as there are a ton of fakes.

Here are some in M on yjp. They don't come up too often.

Go with the US6 and throw in an insert. Doc Marten makes some that are leather topped like the drkshdw ones. I have to wear inserts with my ram socks and creepers.

Some of the newer LB can be pretty bogus, where it is all uniformly blistered and ends up just looking like rough suede without any of the gnarly patches that make it interesting. It varies quite a bit from jacket to jacket. I handled two from masto, same product code and everything, where...

Haha, everyone just assumed you were looking for fakes. Post photos here and we can legit check them for you.

     Careful, they might rip!

Yeah, they were. And when people complained there was even some BS official response of intended discoloration. Search this thread for red / pink sole for more info.

Best way is to do it through PayPal. Don't send the package back until you've made the claim and everything or you will lose your bargaining chip.

It's hard to say. I would personally just return. Fair price would be like $300 IMO, but I'm sure the seller wants more than that. It's less noticeable when they get a little dirty and beat up.

It only happened for a couple seasons. It's not fixable. That's an average price for this without the stains, I would probs return or make a dispute to get at least a couple hundred back if you can live with the stains.
