No it doesn't get wider from the midsection to the waist, this is probably what is causing the bunching at the side. And there is excess room around the chest. Based on the measurements the jacket wasn't made exactly to spec, isn't that the whole point of mtm? Does anyone have experience...- 0x1A4

Here are my body measurements following the guide and having someone measure me: 1. Shoulder: 16" 2. Chest: 38.5" 3. Midsection: 29" 4. Waist: 33" 5. Front Length: 21" 6. Sleeve Length: 24" 7. Bicep: 13" And these were the recommeded jacket measurements: shoulders 17.5" chest (pit-to-pit)...- 0x1A4

Thanks for the feedback, it's goat with excellas. Went with the recommended measurements, said I wanted the jacket fitted but not tight. I think it fits well overall other than the 2 issues seen in the pics. Maybe the jacket needs to be broken in more.- 0x1A4
