    I would agree....I had a pair in the 90's that were great, but just spent $400 on a pair of Lodz classic and the sole is already coming apart after a few weeks of wear around the Sydney conservative business dress. They are made in Romania, not Germany. Complete waste of money.

    I have a few Paul Smith suits bought in London at various times over the last decade. They are either made in Italy or Portugal. I can't see any massive difference in quality between the two. They all seem to have fairly decent construction (full or half? not sure) floating canvas front...
