Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

Unfortunately I have a few liabilities which aren't going to be funded. If anyone has any interest in lengths of Molloy and Sons Navy Donegal (Hill-Side custom run) and/or Dieworkwear Tobacco Fresco, please either PM or see my B+S post Cheers, Matt.

For Sale: Dieworkwear Minnis Tobacco Fresco and Hill-Side Molloy and Sons Navy Donegal cloths

For sale are two cloth lengths that, while I love them, are not going to get made up. I tried my best to photograph them, but the navy in particular was challenging. The Navy is somewhat between the more vibrant and the more greyed colors shown. Likewise, the tobacco is a bit darker than shown...

They didn't, unfortunately. I've chalked it up to being part of the investment to get things as close to right the first time. Hopefully, as with copying shirts and pants in the past, it will be worth it.

Luxire Custom Clothing - Official Affiliate Thread

I'm now over 8 weeks on mine, and when I enquired a few days ago was told it would be another 2 weeks before it shipped, fwiw. Same process as you, sending in jacket for reference. Also, sent mine in a box and didn't get dinged for any additional fees.

Light blue in that fabric would be excellent. I'd definitely give it a try.

I'm honestly not sure, as I didn't specify in my description and I know they were still working out sources back then, so I suppose @luxire could comment.

Here is my bag review. This was one of the pilot bags that Luxire offered to produce some months back. The timing was perfect for me, as I had recently been in the market for a new bag and had already been doing research. After my success having Luxire make my shirts and pants for nearly two...

A few pictures of the @dieworkwear Fresco. I'm quite happy how the color turned out. In direct light it's a mid-dark brown, and in low light it's a straight dark brown. Not a lot of red. Thanks again to Derek for organizing!

At one point the InTweed website was recommended here, so I've used that: http://www.intweed.co.uk/goods-for-sale/tweed-moleskin-lengths-samples They have the Ettrick, Kirkton and Teviot tweed ranges. You can order samples and cut lengths.

Does anyone have experience making up the following design in a jacket? Pros/Cons? Lovat Mill (500g/m): P&H Glenroyal (430g/m): Are there other examples of this design worth looking at I might have missed? Thanks in advance.

Luxire Custom Clothing - Official Affiliate Thread

Here's another way to look at it. You, arguably more than many of us here, stand to benefit considerably from getting a shirt pattern nailed down with Luxire. You have a very complicated shoulder fit. Even if it takes another iteration or two to get it down, which is normal as others have said...

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

Agreed. Though does it have to be Breanish? Not sure if the mill itself was part of the delay on that project. If I recall, the cost was up there as well. Not that there's anything wrong with this project as-is, but I'd be really curious to see what another mill like Lovat, Islay, M&E or even...
