How much do you spend on a toothbrush?

I was at the drugstore buying a toothbrush and started wondering if a $7 toothbrush really made much more of a difference over a $1 one. Do I really need a brush that has all sorts of different patterns and bristle heights and things sticking up to supposedly help clean my teeth? I'm not...

Do you want to live a long life?

By long I mean to the point that you have to depend on others to move around, run errands, cook for you, meet your basic needs, etc. I was going to post this in Health and Body but the question isn't about how to live longer. It's more about if you had the option and could choose, would you...

Plastic eyeglass frames for asian noses

Seems to be a very common problem for asian people trying on eyeglasses. Most plastic frames don't sit right on our faces because our nose bridges are smaller or flatter. Hopefully this thread will help you if you're in this situation! I walked into a great optical store in Toronto and stumbled...

But international shipping (Canada) is a hassle with them and costly, and there's no place to put...

FS: Helmut Lang jeans 28 (actual waist 31")

NWT Helmut Lang, classic denim, relaxed cut. Measurements: -waist (straight across back) 15.5" -inseam 33" -hem 7.5" -front rise 9.5" I don't think these are raw, since other HL jeans would say "raw denim" on the inside label. Maybe these are one-wash? Let me know if you need any more pictures...

FS: Nudie Slim Jim Dry 29 x 34 NWT

Seems my account info got lost in the great crash! I have a new pair of Slim Jims, complete with tags and booklet. Unfortunately, I have decided that I really needed a size 28, or even 27. I have only worn them to try on. $140 shipped. I will mark them as a gift.
