    Good leather shoes: how to prep for first wear?

    Got a new pair of c&j's. Does anyone have any rituals they perform on new shoes before the first wear? I polish regularly, but I wonder if a new pair requires some extra conditioner etc. Is there a preferred way to set the toe creases upon first wearing?
