Vintage FootJoy dress shoe combination last sizing? heel/ball or ball/heel?
Does anyone know which "standard" FootJoy used on their vintage dress shoes? I know that the more common representation is ball width/heel width, but Alden and Nettleton (and others) reverse that and use it to represent heel/ball measurement. Hi. Just saw a pair of black Imperials in a local thrift with dovetail heels and hand numbering for the size (and other numbers) on the inside. Florsheim Royal Imperial question
I recently picked up a pair of Royal Imperials (black Scotch grain with the standard 5-nail double soles) which have a feature I've not seen before. The heels have 2 V cleats in each, rather than the standard (or what I assumed was the standard) 1 cleat per heel. Anyone ever seen this before...- AtomicPop
