Suits on sale still seem to excluded from the extra 25% off unfortunately. I guess Harrys does well enough on them to feel they dont need to add the extra discount.

Went to the Yorkdale Ralph Lauren store. The Purple Label stuff I saw (sweaters, jackets, shoes) were either made in Italy or the UK. There is a small Polo section in the back which is mostly made in China.

The StyleForum Working Hierarchical Suit Quality List (SFWHSQL!)

I have a Jack Victor suit bought last year so relatively recent. Half Canvassed with VBC 110s. It rates atleast a 2 in my book.

You can pick one brand for the rest of your life for suits, shirts, ties, and shoes. Money is no object. Who do you pick?

Suits: Zegna Shoes: Crockett & Jones Shirts: Finamore Napoli Ties: Ralph Lauren

Official: STAR WARS THREAD. These are the droids you're looking for. **WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

Nah I disliked The Last Jedi the moment I saw it in the theatre. Never bought RJ`s convoluted explanation for tearing down Lukes character. Would have much preferred an adaptation of Zahns "Heir to Empire" trilogy over what the JJ/RJ sequels turned out to be.

Was walking down Bloor street and saw the free standing Zegna store was closed and the space being advertised for lease. That was surprising. I didn't even think they had opened that long ago.

LUTWYCHE SAVILE ROW - apparently liquidated - stock on eBay UK

Are the suits a drop 6 ? I see the 42Rs come with a 36 pant. That's usually a bit more of a relaxed fit.

New York Times article on Zegna`s listing as a stock on the NYSE https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/19/business/dealbook/zegna-spac-ipo-stock-market.html Pretty much the entire article is them signaling "We arent just suits anymore..honest" The big hope seems to be knitwear and sportswear ala...

I would be up for that. We go back into the office in November and I`m in the market for a decent set of monkstraps.

The logic for the Isaia stand alone store escapes me as well. Is there really enough of a market for $4000+ suits in Toronto to keep a stand alone store in the black and if its going to be loss leader for brand awareness wouldn't that be more appropriate for locations like fifth avenue in New...

Ive bought three suits in the last six months so I`m sure that I am an extreme outlier. I try to reassure myself that one was the SuitSupply Outlet sale and two from the Buy and Sell section at Styleforum so really I`m just saving money !

The CM Graveyard: First Sartoria Partenopea... next J. Crew?

In my experience its been the suits that have been Pal Zileris main claim to fame. They have an all around menswear line including knitwear, shirts and parkas but the tailoring is what brought them acclaim at least initially.

The CM Graveyard: First Sartoria Partenopea... next J. Crew?

In a bit of sad if not unexpected news it looks like Pal Zileri is shutting down production at one of its plants in Italy. Ive been buying suits from them for years and have been really impressed at how their suits went from big shoulders and kind of boxy to the more recent models with a soft...
