Are there actually fake designer suits? I thought they only faked the cheaper stuff with logos. I mean, why bother faking something that doesn't scream the label? Definately, there are fake designer suits. You commonly see fake Armani and Zegna suits. I actually purchased a fake Zegna suit...- brueshin

Hi, here's additional information. I know that there is no "dolce & gabbana" stamped into the lining of the suit. Also, the buttons don't have "dolce & gabbana" stamped into them. Hi I just bought this suit on ebay. I can't honestly tell if it's real. I can't even tell if the suit is new. I don't know how old the suit is. How can i tell if my zegna suit if a fake?
wow, thanks for the responses. the suit i bought is not a z-line nor the soft. it is a normal zegna. the suit is also not a zegna tessuto or zegna fabric. thus, i was surprised the suit felt as if it was fused. i am thinking that maybe the pinch test is not 100% accurate? so, i am wondering if...- brueshin

How can i tell if my zegna suit if a fake?
Hi, i just bought one zegna suit on ebay and it appears to be fused (I did the pinching test). I heard that zegna is supposed to be canvas and so this raises my suspicion. besides this, it seems like a very nice suit. any tricks to find out if its real or not? thanks- brueshin

How do you tell if your suit is canvas or fused?
Thanks for your reply....wow, that is soo confusing i will try the pinch test but it seems as if you are suggesting that it will not really tell me whether or not it is fused. Is there any other signs/tests that says a suit is well constructed besides this and the stitching? thanks- brueshin
